As a PHP CodeIgniter Developer at [Company Name], you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and operations.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues as they arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in CodeIgniter.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and MVC architecture.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively communicate technical ideas.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
