We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, with a focus on WordPress, and be capable of creating visually appealing and functional websites. The WordPress Developer will work closely with our design and marketing teams to implement and maintain WordPress-based websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements.
Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance.
Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed.
Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.
Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
Optimize website performance, including speed and load times.
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Perform regular website backups and updates.
Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility.
Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web development and WordPress.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are often considered more important.
